What's New for 2020?

Although the Altima just underwent a major redesign, that doesn't mean the innovation at Nissan stops.   • SR VC-Turbo™--Building upon the SR trim, this level also gets drivers the 2.0-liter Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo™) four-cylinder engine.
  • SV--Drivers who choose this trim will get the perk of Nissan's ProPilot Assist system, as well as 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a power sliding glass moonroof, and dual zone automatic temperature control.
  • SL--If you like luxury, you may want to explore this trim level. It gets customers leather seats, Nissan Door-to-Door Navigation with Premium Traffic, a nine-speaker Bose® Premium Audio System, and the NissanConnect® Services that give you a free trial of SiriusXM®.
  • Platinum--Customers will be impressed with this trim's addition of 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a driver's memory seat, and an intelligent Around View® Monitor.
  • Platinum VC-Turbo™--Like the SR VC-Turbo™ trim level, this trim adds the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo™ engine.

Emphasizing Performance and Comfort

Fans of the Altima will have two engine choices options available to them. The standard engine is the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that can generate 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The available engine is the turbocharged 2.0-liter VC-Turbo™ that can generate 248 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). This sedan comes available in all-wheel drive, but if you choose to opt for the turbocharged engine, you must have front wheel drive.

Comfort has long been a staple of the Nissan lineup and the 2020 Nissan Altima is no different. This car features Nissan's famous Zero Gravity seats that were developed with NASA-derived technology. Drivers can look forward to sculpted and well-cushioned seats that provide and incredible amount of support for those longer rides.
